Naples employment and vocational training initiatives

Overview

The City of Naples has introduced several initiatives focused on employment, vocational training, and social inclusion.

Initially, the city launched the ‘Costruire Traguardi Insieme’ project, funded by the Campania FSE+ 2021-2027 program. This initiative provides over 350 opportunities, including orientation services and training courses for roles in tourism, retail, and event hospitality, specifically targeting vulnerable residents.

Following this, the city announced the ‘PITER – Percorsi di Inclusione, Innovazione Territoriale ed Empowerment nel Rione Sanità – Fase II’ project. Funded by the ‘Legalità 2014-2020’ Operational Program, this program offers 40 young residents, aged 18 to 24, a 30 to 40-day professional training experience in Seville, Spain. The program aims to provide exposure to international work environments and concludes with the award of a Europass Mobility European competence certification.
