At the time of qualifying, Riggs trailed series leader Kaden Honeycutt by 17 points in the Chase standings. In the subsequent race, Kaden Honeycutt secured his fourth victory of the season. The win allowed Honeycutt to extend his championship lead to 39 points over Riggs, who finished the race in third place.
