Nepal Premier League 2026 preparations

Overview

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has finalized arrangements for the third edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), scheduled to run from October 26 to November 21, 2026. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially approved the tournament, a move CAN expects will aid in recruiting international players and increasing the league’s global credibility.

All matches for the season will be held at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. CAN has released ticket pricing structures, offering General and Premium categories for league matches, with higher rates for the Eliminator and Final. A season pass is also available for Rs. 15,000.

In addition to the NPL, Nepal is set to host the ICC Asia Conference from November 19 to 21, 2026. CAN secretary Paras Khadka noted that the conference, which includes representatives from Asia’s Test-playing and Associate Member nations, is intended to strengthen regional cooperation and promote sports tourism.
