Netflix has confirmed that the third season of the romantic comedy series ‘Nobody Wants This’ premiered globally on October 22, 2026. The 10-episode season features returning stars Kristen Bell and Adam Brody as Joanne and Noah, who navigate the complexities of moving in together and establishing a shared life. Creators Erin Foster, Jenni Konner, and Bruce Eric Kaplan intended to maintain a specific tone for the new installment, described as feeling ‘like champagne’—romantic, light, and exciting. The plot delves into the tension between Joanne’s agnostic background and Noah’s role as a rabbi, specifically exploring Joanne’s formal conversion to Judaism. Following a surprise proposal in wine country, the couple officially becomes engaged and the season concludes with the protagonists marrying in an impromptu ceremony on a beach in Malibu. While the central romance progresses, significant narrative focus has shifted toward the secondary couple, Sasha and Morgan. Following Sasha’s separation from his wife, the two experience romantic development during a trip to New York City. However, their relationship faces complications due to Morgan’s struggles with vulnerability and Sasha’s feelings of rejection. The season ends with their relationship strained by a major family conflict after Esther discovers the truth about their involvement, leading to a confrontation that reignites animosity between the Roklov and Williams families. Following its release, the third season has received mixed critical reception. While some reviewers have praised the series for its ‘realistic portrayal of modern romance’, other critics have noted ‘repetitive conflicts’ and inconsistencies in pacing. ~~Speculation remains regarding~~ Regarding the show's future, creator Erin Foster has expressed interest in a fourth season, ~~which observers suggest could potentially premiere~~ stating she has “more story to tell,” particularly concerning themes like marrying later in ~~the fall of 2027.~~ life.
