Netflix K-drama immersive experiences in Brazil

Overview

Netflix has launched ‘Estação Dramalândia’, a series of free immersive pop-up spaces in the Brazilian cities of Belém, Maceió, and São Luís. The initiative celebrates a decade of South Korean content on the platform.

The locations were selected because data from Netflix and Toluna indicates that the states of Pará, Maranhão, and Alagoas have the highest proportional viewership of K-dramas in Brazil. The installations feature themed environments, photo booths, and branded merchandise.

To further engage the audience, Netflix is conducting a national contest offering a trip to Seoul. The company noted the significant popularity of South Korean productions, stating that in 2025, Korean titles appeared in the Brazilian Top 10 for 49 out of 52 weeks.
