Netflix series ‘Tires’ renewed for season 4
Overview
The third season of the Netflix comedy series ‘Tires’ premiered on August 13, 2026, with all 12 episodes released simultaneously. The season continues the story of the Valley Forge Automotive Center staff as they navigate professional challenges and financial instability. A central plot point involves the staff attempting to become the primary client for TakaTaka Tires, a fictional Korean company entering the American market.
Following the release of the third season, Netflix officially renewed the series for a fourth season. The renewal follows the third season reaching a peak position of number five on Netflix’s ‘Top 10 English-language list’. Since its transition from a self-funded YouTube pilot to Netflix in 2024, the series has accumulated over 45 million views.
Tracey Pakosta, Netflix’s Vice President of U.S. Comedy, noted that the show’s ‘growing fandom and recent chart performance’ drove the decision to renew. Created by Shane Gillis, Steve Gerben, and John McKeever, the production remains based in West Chester, Pennsylvania. The series features Thomas Haden Church as Phil Jacobs, a character who joined the daily operations in the second season after purchasing the shop. The production has utilized Pennsylvania’s Film Production Tax Credit Program, receiving over $6 million in credits. Co-creators Gillis and McKeever have expressed enthusiasm regarding the continuation of the series.
