Netflix has released the first trailer and posters for its upcoming true-crime thriller, ‘Unabomber’, which is scheduled for global release on September 25, 2026. The bombing campaign resulted in three deaths and approximately 23 to 24 injuries. The production utilizes a dual-timeline structure. The second timeline follows the FBI’s manhunt for Kaczynski, led by agent Joanne Miller, portrayed by Shailene Woodley. The trailer depicts movement between the 1994 bombings and Kaczynski’s early academic years, highlighting his transformation from a gifted student to a reclusive bomber living in a Montana cabin. In addition to the leads, the cast includes Annabelle Wallis, Alexander Ludwig, Steven Ogg, and Marc Menchaca. Jacob Tremblay stars as the young Kaczynski. Following the promotional trailer release, the film was officially released on Netflix on September 25, 2026.
