Netwealth Group Ltd has experienced significant share price volatility and legal challenges. In mid-September 2026, the company’s shares reached a 52-week low of $18.29, despite reporting a 20% annual increase in funds under administration for FY26. Market concerns were partially attributed to the emergence of specialized financial AI tools from companies like Anthropic and OpenAI.

The legal action targets two subsidiaries, Netwealth Investments and Netwealth Superannuation Services, regarding the offering and monitoring of First Guardian investment options between March 2021 and December 2022.
