Neuquén International Book Fair

Overview

The XIII Neuquén International Book Fair, titled ‘Marcelo Martín Berbel’, is scheduled to run from September 11 to 20 at the National Museum of Fine Arts. Under the theme ‘Books that transform, a city in motion’, the event is expected to host 140 book presentations, 200 cultural proposals, and 95 stands representing 150 bookstores and publishers.

In conjunction with the literary landscape, Editorial de la Mujer is using such spaces to address social and political transformation. Recent activities include the presentation of the magazine ‘Science and Public Policy’, produced by the Center for Women's Studies (CEM) with UNFPA support, which examines gender equality and national programs for women. The editorial has also presented activist manuals designed to support networks for lesbian and bisexual women.
