Neurosis band reunion and new album release
The heavy music band Neurosis has reunited and released its first new album in a decade, titled ‘An Undying Love For A Burning World’. Released in March 2026 via Neurot Recordings, the project features founding members Steve Von Till, Jason Roeder, Dave Edwardson, and Noah Landis, alongside new member Aaron Turner. The band’s return follows a period of uncertainty and a split from co-founder Scott Kelly in 2019. Vocalist and guitarist Steve Von Till noted that the group reunited in late 2024, stating that the creative process felt “instant” once the members were in a room together. Following the album release, the group performed their first concert since 2019 on July 25, 2026, at the Fire In The Mountains festival in Montana. The performance took place on the traditional lands of the Blackfeet Nation and was held by invitation of the Firekeeper Alliance, a nonprofit focused on mental health outreach and suicide prevention in Indian Country. Looking ahead, the band has announced they will perform two special sets at the Roadburn festival in Tilburg, Netherlands, in April 2027. This will mark the group’s return to Europe.
