San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York was arrested in East Palestine, Ohio, during an undercover police sting operation. York reportedly used a pseudonym to arrange sexual services and was initially charged with engaging in prostitution. Prosecutors later amended the charges to misdemeanor disorderly conduct and possessing criminal tools, to which York pleaded no contest. His sentence included a fine, forfeiture of funds, York was sentenced to one day in jail, for which he received credit for time already served, and a requirement was ordered to pay $1,150 in fines. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell confirmed that the league is reviewing the incident under its personal conduct policy to determine if additional disciplinary action is required.
