North Macedonia is preparing to launch the ‘m. Uslugi’ (m. Services) mobile application, with a scheduled promotion date of October 28. The initiative, announced by Minister of Digital Transformation Stefan Andonovski, will allow citizens to access electronic versions of identity cards and driver’s licenses, as well as various electronic administrative services. The application is designed as a ‘super-app’ to serve as a single digital hub for state interaction. In its initial version, the app will provide access to electronic identity cards, driver's licenses, services for verifying work seniority, and personal data from the Central Population Register. Minister Andonovski emphasized that these digital documents are not merely photographs of physical IDs but are integrated with a secure electronic identification mechanism. Future development phases aim To enhance security, the digital version allows users to integrate health data selectively share specific information via a one-time use QR code.
