North Macedonia is undertaking significant educational infrastructure and curriculum reforms. A three-million-euro project, co-financed by the Ministry of Education and Science, the Western Balkans Investment Framework, and the Council of Europe Development Bank, has reached 30 primary and secondary schools to rehabilitate physical education facilities and provide sports equipment. In addition to physical upgrades, the country is implementing vocational education reforms. Supported by UNICEF, the Swedish government, and the private sector, approximately 10,800 first-year vocational students are transitioning to modernized curricula. These reforms emphasize STEM competencies, digital skills, and green practices, supported by training for 569 teachers. Minister of Education and Science Vesna Janevska announced that total investments in educational infrastructure have reached 78 million euros, affecting at least 300 facilities.
