Norton motorcycle revival under TVS
Overview
British motorcycle maker Norton, now owned by India’s TVS Motor Company, began a high‑profile rollout of new models in early August 2026. The first announcement detailed the 2026 Manx R Signature, a 206 hp V4 superbike, and the Atlas, a 585 cc crossover bike, highlighting performance testing on Spain’s Monteblanco circuit and on Icelandic roads, and noting the use of Bosch’s six‑axis inertial platform and advanced electronic aids.
A few days later Norton expanded the launch, presenting the Atlas trail bike at a global event in Iceland and outlining a four‑model lineup that adds a V4 RR alongside the Manx R and Atlas variants. The company also unveiled a new premium dealer concept designed with Foster + Partners, featuring compact, gallery‑style showrooms and interactive digital content. With more than €250 million invested since TVS’s 2020 acquisition, Norton aims to establish over 200 dealer points worldwide, signalling a concerted effort to revive the brand’s premium market presence.
