Tech company Nothing has launched its flagship Headphone (1) Pro, an over-ear audio device featuring a triple-driver architecture. The hardware includes a 40mm bass dynamic driver, a precision driver, and a treble xMEMS driver, supporting a frequency response of 20Hz to 40kHz. Technical specifications for the device include Bluetooth 6.1, LDAC codec compatibility, and a 10-microphone system for adaptive active noise cancellation. cancellation, providing up to 46 dB of reduction. The headphones offer up to 68 hours of battery life without ANC and include specialized sound profiles such as a ‘Flat EQ’ mode and ‘Studio B’ spatial audio, developed in collaboration with Metropolis Studios. The ‘Flat EQ’ switch allows users to bypass processing for a neutral sound profile, a feature specifically aimed at content creators and producers. Additionally, the device supports lossless audio playback via USB-C up to 24-bit/192 kHz. The product launch was accompanied by a marketing campaign featuring BTS member V as the company’s new Global Brand Ambassador. The headphones are priced at approximately $399 in the US and between 349 to 370 euros in Germany. While the audio performance and driver integration have received praise, the included hard-shell carrying case has faced criticism. Reviewers noted that the case is heavier than the headphones themselves and lacks a cutout for the USB-C charging port, which requires users to remove the device to charge it.
