Additionally, a joint investigation by Lake Macquarie and Tuggerah Lakes police led to the arrest of a 32-year-old man linked to a series of break-ins across the Central Coast and Lake Macquarie between May and June. The suspect is accused of stealing firearms, ammunition, vehicles, and cash from eight locations. During a search, police recovered a rifle scope, a slingshot, and various drugs. The man faces multiple charges, including aggravated break and enter and unauthorized firearm possession.
