Following a summer promotion that reduced annual fees and expanded game libraries, NVIDIA continued to grow the GeForce NOW ecosystem in August 2026. The service added 26 new titles throughout the month, including immediate releases such as Big Walk, World of Warships: Legends, Beacon Pines, Sovereign Tower, Expeditions: Samurai, The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, The Incident at Galley House, and Machine Party. These additions span the Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox Game Pass platforms. During QuakeCon in Grapevine, Texas, NVIDIA showcased the Ultimate subscription tier, highlighting its RTX 5080-powered performance which delivers gameplay at up to 5K resolution and 120 fps on ultra-wide monitors and portable devices like the Lenovo Legion Go S. Additionally, NVIDIA launched support for the Firefox browser on Windows after a period of engineering collaboration with Mozilla. This update integration allows Firefox users to stream over 2,000 PC games directly within a browser tab. Ultimate tier members using Firefox can access GeForce RTX-powered performance with resolutions up to 1440p and frame rates up to 120 fps. This expansion builds upon previous availability on Linux and Amazon Fire TV, making Firefox the fifth officially supported browser alongside Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Opera. The collaboration aims to improve multitasking, allowing users to utilize browser tabs for communication tools like Discord or information sites like Reddit while playing in full screen. Further library expansions in late August included 12 new titles such as Gallipoli, Stars Reach, and The Sinking City 2, as well as Xbox Game Pass titles like Escape the Backroom and Hell Is Us. The service maintains integration with Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Xbox PC Game Pass, and Ubisoft Connect.
