Oceania Cruises is expanding its portfolio of long-duration luxury voyages to cater to demand for slow-paced, meaningful exploration. The company’s extended itineraries, which include Grand Voyages and journeys lasting up to 180 days, aim to allow passengers to visit numerous destinations, including UNESCO World Heritage sites, without the logistical challenges of frequent flights. Specific upcoming itineraries include a 180-day trip departing Miami in January 2028 aboard the Oceania Aurelia, covering regions from Mexico and Hawaii to Asia and Europe. Other planned voyages include a 68-day trip from Sydney to Vancouver and a 39-day sailing from Singapore to Vancouver. To support these offerings, the cruise line announced that the Oceania Aurelia will join its fleet in late 2027, featuring fewer than 250 suites and staterooms. To enhance the travel experience, Oceania Cruises is expanding its onboard programming to include an ambitious series of lectures and educational activities. Starting in 2027, the company will integrate expert-led conferences covering historical, artistic, and gastronomic themes tailored to specific regions, such as ancient Mediterranean heritage or Caribbean history. These sessions will be complemented by immersive experiences like culinary demonstrations and craft workshops.
