Ocean's Eleven prequel casting expands updates
Warner Bros. continues development of its untitled Ocean’s 11 prequel, set at the 1963 Monaco Grand Prix. Prix (some reports cite 1962). Bradley Cooper writes, directs, co‑produces and stars; Margot Robbie co‑produces via LuckyChap and co‑stars. The ensemble now includes Vicky Krieps, George MacKay, Lauren Ridloff and Jack Holden, with Omar Sy still under negotiation. Wagner Moura has been confirmed as the primary antagonist, and Monica Barbaro and Josh Gad have joined the cast. Earlier commitments from Seth Rogen and others remain unchanged. Principal photography begins in late July, shooting first in Paris before moving to southern France and Monaco. The film retains its planned worldwide release on 25 June 2027 and carries an estimated budget of $100 million. In July 2026, Brazilian actor Wagner Moura announced his casting in interviews with GQ and other outlets, interviews, saying he is “very excited” to portray the villain. He will join the production after completing his European stage tour of “Julgamento – Depois do Inimigo do Povo,” which ends on 11 August. Moura noted a strong connection with Cooper and praised the director’s talent. role follows the success of his film “O Agente Secreto.” Production will wait for his availability before filming his scenes.
