The second edition of the Odisha T20 League CM Trophy is scheduled to be held at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack from September 20 to 29. The tournament features six franchises: the Cuttack Panthers, Bhubaneswar Tigers, Rourkela Steelers, Keonjhar Miners, Puri Titans, and Sambalpur Warriors. Following the initial announcement, the Odisha Cricket Association finalized the player drafts, with each of the six franchises completing 16-player squads. Former cricketers Suresh Raina and Debasis Mohanty have been appointed as brand ambassadors for the league. The tournament aims to provide a professional platform for local cricketers and is expected to conclude with an exhibition women’s match. Specific details for the 2026 tournament indicate that the opening match will be played between the Sambalpur Warriors and Kataka Panthers on September 20. The competition structure consists of league-stage matches followed by knockouts. The team finishing first in the points table will advance directly to the final, while the second and third-placed teams will compete in a qualifier for the remaining spot in the championship match on September 29. A women’s exhibition match is also planned for September 28.
