The 41st Oktoberfest in Rio Grande do Sul will include the 5th Family Farming Fair, featuring 40 exhibitors from 29 different cities. Following a 33% increase in sales during the previous year, organizers anticipate continued strong sales volumes for the 2026 edition. In addition to the Oktoberfest festivities, the Acampamento Farroupilha’s Family Agriculture Pavilion in Porto Alegre reported sales exceeding R$ 1.7 million, fueled by interest in traditional regional goods. Other notable events include the Feira de Sementes Crioulas in Palmeira, which focuses on agrobiodiversity, and the Feira Sou Sul in Curitiba, which promotes products with Geographical Indication (IG) from the Southern region.
