The Ole Miss women’s soccer team secured a 1-0 victory against Murray State in their season opener. The match, held at the Ole Miss Soccer Stadium, marked the first win for head coach Todd Shulenberger. After a scoreless first half, Katie Ramsden scored the decisive goal in the 63rd minute, shortly after entering the game. The Rebels controlled the match statistically, recording 22 shots compared to Murray State’s four and maintaining 55 percent possession.
