In late July 2026, Honduras' most decorated club, Club Olimpia, secured two consecutive triumphs that set the tone for the season. On 24 July, Olimpia captured the inaugural Honduran Supercopa, defeating city rivals Motagua 1-0 at Tegucigalpa’s Estadio Nacional.
