Opera concert in Skopje

Overview

Opera artists Ana and Igor Durlovski are scheduled to perform a major concert titled ‘Zavet – od svetot do izvorot’ (Covenant – from the world to the source) on December 6, 2026, at the Jane Sandanski Sports Center in Skopje. Organized by Password Production, the event is intended to mark the culmination of the couple’s 30-year professional career.

The two-hour performance will feature the Aiga Symphony Orchestra, composed of 100 Macedonian musicians and conducted by Ana Spasovska. The program, featuring new arrangements by Soni Petrovski, will blend film music, opera classics, and Macedonian musical heritage. Repertoire highlights include works such as ‘Shallow’, ‘Parla più piano’, ‘The Book of Love’, and ‘Carmina Burana’, as well as pieces by composer Tode Novevski.

Organizers describe the performance as a homecoming, intended to bring international experience back to the local stage and celebrate the couple’s commitment to promoting Macedonian voices globally. Tickets for the event are available through MkTickets.
