Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke announced the creation of a N500 million Election Violence Victims Endowment Fund to assist verified victims and their families. The initiative includes a commitment to provide university-level scholarships for the dependents of those killed during the election period. To manage the fund, the state government established a 10-member verification and relief committee chaired by the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Adewale Olumide Egbedun. The committee includes members from the Nigeria Police Force, the Department of State Services, and civil society. society, as well as the Ministries of Information and Justice. Following the committee's formation, the Osun State chapter of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) requested that the governor reconstitute the group. IPAC chairman Dr. Tosin Odeyemi argued the committee lacks "inclusiveness “inclusiveness and credibility" credibility” because it excludes representatives from political parties, which could impact confidence in the fairness of the relief process.
