In the championship match, the United States defeated the Dominican Republic 3-0 to claim its eighth Pan American Cup title. The match scores were 28-26, 25-19, and 25-18. Although the Dominican Republic is set fought to face a 25-25 tie in the first set, the United States in eventually secured the final set and maintained control for the remainder of the match.
