Overview
Panerai has released two limited-edition Luminor Firenze 8 Giorni timepieces to mark the 100th anniversary of its Orologeria Svizzera boutique in Florence, which has operated in Piazza San Giovanni since 1926.
Inspired by midcentury and 1960s designs, the 44mm models feature the in-house manual-winding Calibre P. 5000 movement with an eight-day power reserve. Design elements include cushion-shaped cases, notched crown protectors, and domed sapphire crystals intended to evoke vintage Perspex.
The collection consists of two versions: a platinum edition (PAM01734) with a green dial, limited to 100 pieces, and a polished stainless steel edition (PAM01794) with a black or anthracite dial, limited to 1,000 pieces. Both models include Super-LumiNova-treated indices and hands, and are paired with Tuscan calf leather straps featuring a hot-stamped fleur-de-lis emblem.
