Olympiacos has secured its fifth consecutive Stoiximan Super Cup by defeating PAOK 101-96 in the final held at the Andreas Papandreou Indoor Hall. Olympiacos established an early lead, at one point holding a 21-point advantage. However, PAOK mounted a significant comeback driven by three-point shooting, eventually narrowing the gap to within a single point. Olympiacos managed the pressure in the final minutes to secure the win. Key contributors for Olympiacos included Sasha Vezenkov, who scored 25 points and was named MVP, Jean Montes with 20 points, and Evan Fournier with 19 points. Following the match, Olympiacos coach Georgios Bartzokas highlighted the team’s offensive output of 101 points while acknowledging defensive difficulties encountered during the second half. This victory marks the first domestic title of the season for Olympiacos and brings the club’s total number of titles across its five major multi-sport departments to 350. Earlier in the tournament, Olympiacos advanced to the final with a 93-80 semifinal victory over AEK, led by Jean Monegro and Thomas Walkup. AEK coach Dragan Sakota remarked that while the team is currently lacking rhythm due to varying levels of player readiness, they remain optimistic about the upcoming season. PAOK reached the final after a dramatic 84-82 semifinal win against Panathinaikos, a match decided by a buzzer-beater three-pointer from Cedi Osman. Panathinaikos coach Zeljko Obradovic noted that despite a strong fight, the team struggled with free throws and rebounding during that loss.
