The PAOK women’s handball team, coming off a domestic double-winning campaign, has secured the contract renewal of Brazilian pivot Milena Menezes for the 2026-2027 season. On September 21, the team achieved a historic treble by winning the Women’s Handball Super Cup with a 30-18 victory over Anagennisi Arta at the Mikra indoor arena in Thessaloniki. This win, which marks the club’s second Super Cup title, coincides with the organization’s centenary year. Elina Trochidou was named the match MVP. Coach Dimitris Pelekidis led the team to the victory, maintaining control of the match following an initially competitive period. PAOK established dominance after the 7th minute, leading 17-9 at halftime, and maintained a significant lead throughout the second half to win by 12 goals. This success completes a season consisting of the Championship, the Cup, and the Super Cup. The two teams are scheduled to meet again during the opening round of the A1 championship in Artas.
