Paramount+ has officially renewed the crime drama series ‘MobLand’ for a third season. This renewal announcement precedes the scheduled premiere of the second season on September 18, 2026. The second season will consist of ten episodes, with new installments released weekly on Fridays until the finale on November 20, 2026. The narrative continues to follow the Harrigan crime family in North London, focusing on the family’s fixer, Harry da Souza, played by Tom Hardy, as he navigates internal fractures and threats from the Stevenson clan. Despite previous reports of behind-the-scenes tension and potential departure by Tom Hardy due to “creative conflicts and tensions with showrunner Jez Butterworth,” it has been confirmed that Hardy will return for both the second and third seasons. He will be joined by returning cast members Pierce Brosnan as Conrad Harrigan and Helen Mirren as Maeve Harrigan. Helen Mirren has previously addressed rumors regarding Hardy, expressing her support for him. The series is produced in association with Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios. To celebrate the upcoming second season, Paramount+ Canada is hosting an immersive pop-up experience in downtown Toronto. From September 11 through September 19, the Windsor Bar inside the Elephant & Castle restaurant will feature a themed takeover inspired by the Harrigan crime family. The activation includes interactive activities such as a ‘Mugshot’ photo booth, themed cocktails, and live musical performances.
