During Paris Fashion Week, several high-profile figures made runway debuts. German actress Ruby O. Fee participated in the L'Oréal Paris ‘Le Défilé’ show, walking the catwalk in a white bodycon dress alongside international stars such as Kendall Jenner and Eva Longoria. Nigerian content creator Rachel Ojuromi also made her debut, appearing in the Chanel Spring/Summer 2027 collection at the Grand Palais. Ojuromi, who gained prominence by recreating high-fashion looks in Lagos, has subsequently signed modeling contracts in New York, Paris, and London. The 22-year-old from Lagos gained initial attention through viral social media content, where she and stylist Debby Fasingha used local brands and second-hand clothing to recreate high-fashion looks in the streets and markets of Lagos. These videos, filmed by photographer Odey Ikp, eventually caught the eye of Chanel's creative director, Matthieu Blazy. During her debut at the Grand Palais, Ojuromi wore signature Chanel tweed pieces in canary yellow and grey, including a structured jacket and midi skirt.
