In mid‑July 2026, Paysandu reiterated that right‑back Bruno Limão, who plays for Águia de Marabá, is not the subject of any formal offer and remains with his current club. A week later, centre‑back Luccão completed his move to Portuguese third‑division side Trofense; Paysandu kept roughly 20% of his economic rights, and the contract runs to at least mid‑2027. In early August, the club secured a loan for 24‑year‑old defender Lucas Rodrigues from América‑RN until the end of the 2024 Série C, after which he returns to his parent club. By 6 August, Rodrigues had passed his medical, awaited CBF registration, and expressed that he is “very happy” and ready to help Paysandu achieve promotion. At that time, the team sat sixth on 23 points. By mid-August, Paysandu entered negotiations to loan 26-year-old defender Gustavo Henrique from Portuguesa to further strengthen the squad for the Série C competition.
