San Luis Potosí Mayor Enrique Galindo Ceballos has received high national rankings for his administration’s performance in August 2026. Initial reports from a Rubrum survey indicated that the city ranked second nationally for the quality of public services. Galindo Ceballos also placed fourth in municipal performance and third in proximity to the population. During this period, the city also hosted the fourth Feria de la Proveeduría to support local business integration. Subsequent data from the México Elige survey placed Galindo Ceballos third nationally among mayors regarding approval ratings, with a 65.2% score. His administration’s recent activities have included infrastructure projects, such as the Salvador Nava-Jacobo Payán bridge and the México Imparable Community Center, alongside engagement with over 850 Citizen Security Committees to enhance community safety. In September 2026, the administration continued its focus on urban maintenance through the 238th edition of the ‘Domingo de Pilas’ program. Led by Galindo, the initiative focused on cleaning and rehabilitating public spaces in the FOVISSSTE neighborhood. The Mayor identified the program as a priority to address direct neighborhood needs and noted that community cooperation allows the municipal government to better support local maintenance efforts.
