Pfizer has demonstrated signs of financial recovery, with its shares reaching a 52-week high. The company is implementing cost-reduction programs aimed at achieving up to $6.7 billion in savings through 2029. Following third-quarter results that exceeded analyst expectations, Pfizer raised its full-year 2026 revenue forecast to a range between US$62 billion and US$64 billion, up from a previous forecast of US$60.5 billion to US$62.5 billion. This upward revision is attributed to 32 percent operational growth in newly launched and acquired products, such as Eliquis and Padcev, which helped offset declining sales of COVID-19 related products like Comirnaty and Paxlovid. Specifically, Eliquis saw a 25 percent increase in sales to $2.52 billion, while the cancer therapy Padcev grew 55 percent operationally. Consequently, the company also increased its adjusted diluted earnings guidance to a range of US$2.95 to US$3.05 per share. Additionally, Pfizer confirmed that Cecile Guegan has officially assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer, succeeding her interim status.
