In September 2026, two separate musical productions announced North American tours for 2027 centered on the legacy of Pink Floyd. Brit Floyd announced a tour celebrating the 50th anniversary of the album ‘Animals’. The first leg of the tour is scheduled to run from February 23 in Hamilton, Ontario, through April 17 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, featuring a three-hour set. Concurrently, Roger Waters and his son Harry Waters announced ‘Roger Waters Presents LEGACY – A Pink Floyd Show’. This production focuses on material from 1971 to 1979, including selections from ‘The Dark Side of the Moon’, ‘Wish You Were Here’, ‘Animals’, and ‘The Wall’. While Roger Waters directed the production, he will not perform; instead, Harry Waters will serve as musical director for the 10-piece band, and Nashville-based Canadian singer Clifton David Broadbridge will provide lead vocals following an open call of approximately 3,000 submissions. The tour is scheduled to begin on February 15, 2027, in Columbus, Georgia, and will visit more than 100 cities across North America and Europe. The show will incorporate high-definition LED visuals inspired by original Pink Floyd imagery. The North American leg is expected to conclude on September 25, 2027, in St. Louis. North American ticket sales are set to begin on October 2, with European dates expected to be announced in the future.
