Piraeus port scholarship programs
Overview
In September 2026, PCT S.A., a subsidiary of COSCO SHIPPING Ports Ltd, announced its third consecutive annual scholarship program. The initiative offered 20,000 euros through five scholarships of 4,000 euros each, targeting first-year students from Greek public high schools in the municipalities of Perama and Keratsini-Drapetsona.
Shortly after, Piraeus Port Authority S.A. (OLP) announced the expansion of its ‘Kunpeng Scholarship’ program for the 2026–2027 academic year. Marking the 10th anniversary of COSCO SHIPPING’s strategic investment in the port, the program increased its total funding to 30,000 euros. This expanded initiative provides 3,000 euros to 10 recipients and includes broader income criteria to reach more families. Eligible students must be residents of Piraeus, Perama, Keratsini–Drapetsona, or Salamina and graduates of Greek public high schools.
