The POCO F9 series has officially launched, featuring the flagship F9 Ultra and the high-performance F9 Pro. Both models run on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 and include IP68 dust and water resistance. The F9 Ultra is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a 6.9-inch HyperRGB AMOLED display with a 185Hz refresh rate. While earlier reports noted 4,500 nits, newer specifications indicate peak brightness can reach up to 10,000 nits. Its camera system consists of a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. Audio is provided by a “Sound by Bose” 2.1 channel system with a rear-mounted subwoofer. The device is powered by an 8,050mAh silicon-carbon battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The F9 Pro utilizes a slightly modified Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series chip and a 6.59-inch 185Hz AMOLED display. It features a 6,330mAh battery and a camera setup including a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. While it lacks the Ultra’s dedicated subwoofer, it includes Bose-tuned dual speakers. Alongside the F9 flagships, POCO has introduced the mid-range X8 series. The X8 is designed for durability with an IP69K protection rating and features a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor and a large 8,340mAh battery. The X8 series, which includes the standard X8 and X8 Power, utilizes a 6.83-inch 120Hz AMOLED display and is positioned as a high-value option for users prioritizing longevity and ruggedness. Regional pricing and availability have been identified. In the Philippines, prices start at ₱49,999 for the Pro and ₱55,999 for the Ultra. In Japan, the F9 Ultra is estimated at approximately 149,800 to 169,800 yen. In Turkey, the F9 Pro starts at 69,999 TL, while the F9 Ultra starts at 79,999 TL.
