In early July 2026, Polish municipalities began receiving modern digital‑learning equipment under the National Recovery Plan. Primary schools in Olszewo‑Borki were equipped with AI laboratories, including laptops, AI‑capable workstations and interactive monitors, while kindergartens in the Sanok area received Bee‑Bot robots and programming kits. Later in July, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage inaugurated a "Projektownia" creativity lab in Bolszew, featuring computer workstations and 3D printers. The lab is part of the Świetlik programme, which aims to create dozens of similar facilities in small towns to narrow the digital divide. ~~Both initiatives illustrate~~ At the end of July, the municipalities of Koźmin Wielkopolski and Lipno received complete AI‑lab kits for primary schools under the same Recovery Plan, financed by EU funds. Each kit includes 16 laptops, a desktop AI server, a 75‑inch interactive monitor, UPS backup, Wi‑Fi access points, HD cameras with microphones, a mobile charging cabinet and software. Installation will take place at primary schools in Mokronos, Stara Obrze, Lipno and Wilkowice, coordinated with the Ministry of Digitisation and the National Academic Computer Network (NASK). Together, these actions illustrate a sustained, multi‑ministerial effort ~~by Polish ministries~~ to ~~expand digital~~ modernise teaching, promote STEM education ~~infrastructure~~ and close the digital divide across Polish schools and community centres.
