Recent reports highlight seasonal scheduling and growth at Polish airports. Katowice Airport reported record passenger numbers, serving 7.3 million travelers in 2025, and announced new winter routes via Ryanair to Turin, Naples, and Malaga, alongside an Air Arabia connection to Sharjah. Kraków Airport has announced its winter flight schedule, offering 140 connections to 37 countries across 97 cities. Despite industry challenges such as rising fuel prices and geopolitical issues, the airport expects growth and aims to exceed previous historical records. The network includes over 6 million seats from 25 airlines, featuring 51 connections to 42 sunny destinations, including new routes to Rabat, Morocco, and Marsa Alam, Egypt. Bydgoszcz Airport has also unveiled its winter flight schedule, starting October 25. The timetable includes expanded services to the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Spain via Ryanair, with specific routes to Alicante, Birmingham, Bristol, Dublin, London Stansted, and London Luton. PLL LOT will maintain connections to Warsaw six times per week. Additionally, the airport continues its year-round service to Marsa Alam, Egypt, and has added a new seasonal connection to Hurghada via Join Up! Polska for February. Wrocław Airport is also seeing expansion, with Ryanair announcing a new direct connection to Faro, Portugal, starting March 30, 2027. This marks the fourth new route announced for the 2027 summer season from Wrocław, following previous announcements for Birmingham, Burgas, and Catania. Karol Przywara, President of Wrocław Airport, stated the expansion follows “strong passenger interest in Portugal.”
