Polish athletes achieved significant success in international and national competitions. At the European Para Swimming Championships in Kocaeli, Turkey, Oliwia Jabłońska won her third gold medal in the S9 class 400m freestyle, setting a new European record with a time of 4:36.41. Other Polish medalists in the same event included Jacek Czech, who took silver, and Krzysztof Lechniak, who took bronze in the S2 200m freestyle.
