In August 2026, Poland hosted several aviation and cultural events. The Polish Aviation Museum in Kraków held an exhibition titled ‘Arrive Tokyo! As the festival approaches, specific programming details have been released. The event will feature a Polonaise performed by the Mystkowianie Regional Ensemble and a concert by the artist Cleo. Regional Marshal Łukasz Smółka described the festival as a celebration of gratitude for the harvest and a way to honor the hard work of farmers and generational traditions. The festivities are scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM. In Toruń, the inaugural Copernicus Airshow debuted on August 30, attracting thousands of visitors to the Bulwar Filadelfijski. Organized by the Local Tourist Organization of the Toruń Metropolis and Grupa FALCO under the patronage of Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, the event featured daytime aerobatics by Polish and international pilots—including Red Bull Air Race champion Łukasz Czepiela—as well as a concert and a night-time pyrotechnic and light spectacle. The airshow involved significant local traffic and pedestrian restrictions. Coinciding with the airshow was the 6th Auto Moto Show at MotoPark, which showcased nearly 300 vehicles. Meanwhile, in Nowe Miasto nad Pilicą, ceremonies were held on August 28 to observe Polish Aviation Day, honoring the 1932 victory of Franciszek Żwirki and Stanisław Wigura in the Challenge International Tourist Aircraft Competition. Participants included local authorities, the Association of Military Aviation Seniors, and Territorial Defense Forces.
