Polish gastronomy and tourism sector development

The Polish gastronomy and tourism sectors continue to show significant activity through various industry-specific events and trade fairs. Building on previous growth in Lublin and the national fine dining scene, late 2026 is marked by a focus on the broader supply chain and professional development.

In the packaging and food industry sectors, the TAROPAK 2026 international trade fair for packaging and labeling is scheduled for September 23–25 in Poznań. This event will run alongside the POLAGRA food industry exhibition, providing a comprehensive look at the supply chain with expected participation from major retail partners such as Lidl and Żabka.

The agricultural sector will host the fourth edition of AGRO Gorlice in Bystra on September 19–20, featuring livestock exhibitions and regional food competitions.

Professional development in hospitality and gastronomy remains a priority. The MAKRO GASTRO LAB 2026 is set to convene industry professionals in Wrocław on September 30 to address kitchen efficiency and business management. Further culinary engagement includes the upcoming RestaurantWeek® starting October 7 and a series of Italian cooking workshops hosted by the Il Pastaio Culinary Academy throughout September and October.
