Polish military surplus auctions

In late July 2026 Poland’s Military Property Agency (AMW) began a series of public sales of demobilised military assets. The first auction, held in Kraków on 24 July, offered a small lot of historic vehicles, including four Honker 2000 off‑road trucks, several transport trailers, utility buses and spare‑part packages for classic Polish and Soviet‑era cars. Bids were open to any adult Polish citizen and the deadline for offers was 23 July.

A week later, AMW’s regional office in Lublin announced a much larger public tender covering 216 items. The inventory expanded beyond vehicles to civilian‑type cars such as a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta, an Opel Vectra, Renault Megane, agricultural trailers, and even unusual goods like a tenor saxophone, drum‑set, a laser‑equipped drill and a 3‑D measuring‑scanning system. Prospective buyers could inspect the items on 30‑31 July, with the tender decision scheduled for 5 August. Proceeds from the sales were earmarked for the Fund for Supporting the Armed Forces.
