Polish discount retailers Dino and Biedronka have introduced various promotions and private-label options for ground coffee. In mid-October, Dino offered discounted MK Café Premium ground coffee, while Biedronka featured Caffe Oro, a private-label 100% Arabica product produced by Gruppo Gimoka S. p. A. By early November, Biedronka expanded its promotional activities to include buy-one-get-one-free deals on 1 kg packs of Lavazza Crema e Gusto Classico and 500 g packs of Eduscho Family ground coffee. The retailer also offered a buy-one-get-one-50-percent-off deal on Café d’Or instant coffees. These discounts often required the use of a Biedronka card or the Moja Biedronka mobile application and were subject to daily purchase limits. On November 2, Biedronka continued these coffee promotions, maintaining the 1+1 free deals on Lavazza and Eduscho brands. Alongside these offers, the retailer announced updates significant changes to its Moja Biedronka loyalty program and privacy policy, which were set to take effect on effective November 5 5, 2026. These updates apply to facilitate both physical loyalty cards and the expansion mobile application. A primary driver for these regulatory changes is the integration of its online the Biek application, a service developed in collaboration with Glovo that enables rapid grocery delivery. The new terms ensure that loyalty accounts can be utilized across both traditional in-store shopping and these new digital delivery channels. The updated privacy policy also includes specific provisions regarding the processing of customer data within these connected services.
