Following his retirement from professional competition at the end of the 2025/2026 World Cup season, Olympic champion Kamil Stoch accepted a role as a board advisor for ski jumping with the Polish Ski Association (PZN). Stoch intended to serve as a liaison between athletes and officials to address competitor needs. By mid-October 2026, the Polish ski jumping staff expanded to include Stefan Horngacher, who returned to Poland to serve as the training coordinator for the PZN. Horngacher, working alongside Adam MaĆysz, oversees all training groups. Stoch remains part of the staff in an advisory and mentoring capacity to support younger athletes. Following the Summer Polish Championships in Zakopane, athletes have noted the positive impact of this coaching structure. Younger jumper Szymon Sarniak expressed satisfaction with his progress, specifically citing the value of advice received from Kamil Stoch. Veteran jumper Dawid Kubacki also praised the expertise of Stefan Horngacher, noting the positive influence of his guidance on recent jumps despite personal challenges and training frequency issues.
