Mid‑June the Polish national team intensified preparations for the DPŚ final in Warsaw, while domestic qualifying tournaments set the championship line‑up. In early July the Individual Polish Championships saw Kacper Woryna surge to the top and Bartosz Zmarzlik slip to 15th, and the selector named the likely DPŚ squad. Polish riders kept their international edge in July. At the Swedish Speedway Grand Prix qualifiers Patryk Dudek posted the fastest time, and all three Polish riders won their head‑to‑head duels. The Grand Prix start list includes five Poles, and Zmarzlik broke the Polish record with his 320th win, moving to third on the all‑time list and leading the 2026 championship with 82 points. The Tauron Speedway Euro Championship opened in Zielona Góra, where Denmark’s Leon Madsen claimed the inaugural round victory with 14 points, Patryk Dudek finished third and Michael Jepsen Jensen fourth. On 25 July Poland lost 41–49 to Australia in a test match at Rybnik; Australia’s Brady Kurtz topped the score sheet with 11 + 1 points while Poland’s Dominik Kubera and Bartosz Zmarzlik each scored 13. Coach Stanisław Chomski warned that the poor showing of the Pawlicki brothers and Kacper Woryna raised doubts about the squad’s readiness for the World Team Cup final on 29 August in Warsaw. A friendly on 27 July at Rybnick served as the last major rehearsal, with a core squad named that includes Zmarzlik, Woryna, Patryk Dudek, the Pawlicki brothers and Dominik Kubera. The season now turns to the Łódź Speedway Grand Prix on 1 August, where Zmarzlik will try to extend his lead over Australian Jack Kurtz while Danish riders Michael Jepsen Jensen, Leon Madsen and Anders Thomsen contest the final qualification spots for the 2027 series.
