The local government in Rožaje has faced significant instability due to internal political conflict. Following a session of the Municipal Assembly, reports indicated a collapse of the administration caused by a loss of majority and a lack of unity within the Bosniak Party (BS). Councilor Alen Kalač of the European Alliance stated that the political conflict within the BS has become “impossible to hide,” noting that the loss of a quorum and the withdrawal of agenda items demonstrated a government that has lost control over its institutions.
