The third edition of the Penedo Sabor & Jazz Festival is scheduled for August 28–29 in the Largo de São Gonçalo in Penedo, Alagoas, Brazil. Featured performers include~~ lineup features Chico Oliveira, formerly of the ‘Programa do Jô’ sextet, performing with Myrna Araújo. Other confirmed artists ~~are~~ include Bella Schneider, a former participant of The Voice Brasil, Ana Gal e Quarteto, Rony Ferreira Conexão 82, and the Big Band 12 de Abril. As the festival commences, it integrates local gastronomy through a food court at Largo de São Gonçalo, offering specialized dishes from various local restaurants at fixed prices. The event also includes educational culinary workshops. Professional chefs are providing specialized training for municipal school cafeteria workers on nutritious recipes, such as beet-based bread and orange cake. Additionally, students from the municipal school network are participating in Senac-hosted workshops focused on creative snacks and cupcake decoration to promote healthy eating habits.
