The Italian pop group Pooh is celebrating its 60th anniversary with the “Pooh 60 – La nostra storia” tour, featuring members Roby Facchinetti, Dodi Battaglia, Red Canzian, and guest Riccardo Fogli. The ~~tour began on 10 July 2026 at the Stadio Checcarini in Marsciano as part of the “Musica per i Borghi” festival. As part of the debut Egnazia Kepos Sound festival, the band performed a three-hour set Greece, most recently at the Egnazia Archaeological Park in Fasano on 20 August, celebrating their career with hits such as ‘Piccola Katy’ and ‘Uomini soli’. This performance, alongside a sold-out set by Riccardo Cocciante on 23 August, follows the group’s ongoing “Pooh 60 – La nostra storia – Estate” tour, which includes upcoming dates in Taormina, Paestum, and Macerata through September. August. A concert in Riccione on 2 September was abruptly interrupted during its final minutes due to a technical failure involving a damaged motherboard in the mixer. Band members expressed “great sadness and great pain” over the inability to perform the final 40 minutes of the setlist, though they noted the emotional support shown by the fans. ~~Looking ahead,~~ The celebrations are expanding to include a symphonic tribute titled “Pooh History: Omaggio Sinfonico,” scheduled to debut on 29 September at the ~~tour will transition~~ Mario Del Monaco Municipal Theatre in Treviso. Directed by Diego Basso, this project utilizes a symphony orchestra and lyric choir, intentionally excluding electric instruments and solo vocalists to focus on the dialogue between orchestral sections. Simultaneously, the group is transitioning to an arena leg ~~starting 25 September 2026.~~ of their tour. This phase includes sold-out shows at the ChorusLife Arena in Bergamo and scheduled dates at the Nelson Mandela Forum in Florence, the Inalpi Arena in Turin, Palazzo dello Sport in Rome, and the Unipol Forum in Milan.
