The Porsche Cup Endurance series debuted at the newly remodeled Brasília International Autodrome in Brazil. The circuit, which recently received FIA Grade 4 homologation, is the third largest layout used in the category’s history and the longest track in the country at 5.834 kilometers. During initial practice sessions for the 300 km race, the driver duo Marçal Muller and Gaetano Di Mauro of the Farben team led the timing screens in car #544 with a best lap of 1:55.633. Other competitors, including Silvio Morestoni, Matheus Machado, Leonardo Sanchez, and Diego Nunes, worked to optimize performance ahead of qualifying. In the main 300 km endurance race, Matheus Comparatto and Felipe Baptista secured victory driving the #118 Porsche after earning pole position in the Carrera class. The race was impacted by changing weather conditions and rain, which triggered safety car interventions. Despite these challenges, Comparatto maintained the lead following the restarts, a win that allows him to take the lead in the 2026 Carrera Cup championship standings. The podium was completed by Marçal Muller and Gaetano Di Mauro, followed by Alceu Feldmann Neto and Gabriel Casagrande. In the Porsche Sprint Challenge category, Caio Castro and Danilo Dirani also secured a win. In the Porsche Carrera Cup Rookie category, Felipe Massa and his son, Pipo Massa, secured their first joint victory. After Pipo earned pole position on Friday, the duo dominated the Rookie segment of the race on Saturday. In the overall standings, the father-son pair finished in sixth place. Pipo, aged 16, moved up several positions early in the race despite the wet track conditions. In the Porsche Cup Sport category, Silvio Morestoni and Matheus Machado finished in seventh place. While contending for a podium position, Machado was forced into the gravel trap following contact from another competitor with ten laps remaining in the race.
